About the WTM Austria Centre
The WTM Austria offers a support network for those who live in our part of the world, and who want to learn about and grow their understanding of the human condition — the human condition being the underlying problem in all human affairs of our species’ extraordinary capacity for what has been called ‘good and evil’. WTM Austria was founded in 2017 during Stefan Rössler’s visit to the Sydney WTM Centre.

Stefan Rössler, Co-founder of the WTM Austria Center
Stefan grew up on a dairy farm in Obdach, Styria. After graduating from the commercial high school in Judenburg, he moved to Graz to study information design at the FH Joanneum. While completing his bachelor’s degree with a focus on usability, Stefan founded the design and consulting company Simplease with three fellow students. With Simplease he mainly works with larger companies and startups to help them create user-friendly digital products (websites, apps, etc.). That’s also why he and his colleagues developed the online usability service Userbrain which is used by designers and product manager from companies such as Spotify, Lush Cosmetics, Virgin and Solar City to improve their digital products. He’s also been lecturing about usability and user experience in several universities in Austria since 2010. All his life, Stefan had a great personal interest in human behaviour and the question of why we are the way we are. When he then came across the explanation of the human condition by biologist Jeremy Griffith in 2016, he realised that this biological explanation does indeed explain our behaviour truthfully – and that this will solve all the problems in this world!

Gerald Staffaneller was born in 1985 and grew up in Obdach, a small village in Austria. After studying industrial engineering and management with a focus on computer science at the Higher Technical Education College in Wolfsberg he moved to Graz. Gerald has several years of experience in programming as well as in management positions for international operating companies in the IT sector. Following his passion for music he spent many years singing in bands and also founded an artist and event management company with one of his closest friends. Gerald great interest in sports also lead him to pursue courses on the functioning of the human body and nutrition and eventually receiving his health fitness & personal trainer certification. He is currently working as a manager for software quality assurance. Gerald was introduced to FREEDOM and Jeremy’s explanation of the human condition in 2016. As Gerald has said, in his Amazon review of FREEDOM: The End of The Human Condition, ‘…With this understanding everything changes in you. All your anger, all the egocentricity, all-depressive feelings start to vanish. So do materialistic dreams, actually they seem ridiculous… I can only urge every single person to read FREEDOM as this understanding is really the only way to save the world and prevent us from the direction we are heading in.’
Gerald Staffaneller, Co-founder of the WTM Austria Center
“…I believe that every single human on this planet needs and deserves to hear about this breakthrough biological explanation of the human condition as only the amelioration of our psychologically troubled human condition can and will save the world.”

‘the excitement and relief of being effectively free of the human condition—the joy and happiness of being liberated from the burden of our insecurities, self-preoccupations and devious strategising; the awesome meaning and power of finally being genuinely aligned with the truth and actually participating in the magic true world; the wonderful empathy and equality of goodness and fellowship that understanding of the human condition now allows us to feel for our fellow humans; the freedom now to effectively focus on repairing the world; and, above all, the radiant aliveness from the optimism that comes with knowing our species’ march through hell has finally ended and that a human-condition-free new world is coming—CAN NOW TRANSFORM EVERY HUMAN AND THUS THE WORLD.’
